Eligibility Criteria
Normal Entry: Applicants must be holders of a BSc Honours Degree with at least a degree class of Upper Second (2.1) in Computing (Computer Engineering, Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering), Electronic Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Operations Research or any related field. Special Entry: Applicants with a Lower Second Class (2.2) Honours Degree in the above fields will be required to have at least two years' post-qualification experience.
Application process
Apply online at www.gzu.ac.zw: create an account, fill in personal/academic details, select your preferred programme, upload scanned certificates (academic, professional, birth) and national ID (block release/weekend school applicants also upload proof of employment), and pay a non-refundable application fee of US$10 (Undergraduate) or US$20 (Postgraduate) via Ecocash. Physical applications: obtain a form from the Admissions Office (or download from www.gzu.ac.zw), pay the same application fee, and submit with certified copies of certificates, birth certificate/national ID, and marriage certificate (where applicable) to: The Assistant Registrar, Admissions and Students Records, Great Zimbabwe University, P.O Box 1235, Masvingo (Tel +263 39 2266648/2266658/2266660/2266662, +263782780661/662, 08677004747) or the Harare Office (ZIMDEF House, Rotten Row off Mother Patrick Avenue, Office 14, Tel 08677004747 Ext 1282).
