NORMAL ENTRY: Have 5 'O' Level passes including Mathematics, Physical Science and English Language, passed with at least a grade C. Have obtained at least two passes at A Level or their recognized equivalents: one in Mathematics and the other from any one of the following subjects, Chemistry/Physics. SPECIAL ENTRY: Higher National Diploma in Mining, Metallurgical Assay, Mine Ventilation & Environmental Engineering, Mine Survey, Mine Geology, Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy from the Zimbabwe School of Mines or Geoscience related fields from an accredited institution plus at least 2 years post qualification experience. Those with qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical engineering may be accepted subject to interviews. MATURE ENTRY: At least 25 years of age with relevant general qualifications and working experience in the field of Mining or Geosciences. May be subjected to an interview.
