Program description

This programme develops graduates with strong technical and managerial capabilities in the field of mining engineering. Students learn about mine design, rock mechanics, mineral extraction methods, ventilation, safety systems, and resource estimation. With a blend of theoretical coursework and practical training, graduates are prepared to optimise mining processes, improve safety performance, and lead operations in the mining sector. This degree aligns with industry needs for safe, productive, and sustainable resource extraction.

Eligibility Criteria

5 ‘O’ Level passes including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject

Application process

Complete the institute application. Submit O-Level certificates. Gain a National Diploma, then articulate into degree programmes with advanced entry (selected universities).
