Westgate Industrial Training College

Westgate Industrial Training College is a government Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution located in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Established in June 1983 by the Ministry of Manpower Planning and Development, the college specialises in practical skills development to prepare students for careers in industry, construction, and technical trades. Operating from its main campus in Bulawayo’s industrial area, Westgate provides HEXCO-certified programmes through full-time, short-course, and worker-upgrading training pathways. The college offers National Certificate programmes and practical training in automotive engineering, electrical power, mechanical engineering, welding and fabrication, civil construction, hospitality, and computer applications. With a strong focus on hands-on learning, innovation, and workforce development, Westgate Industrial Training College continues to bridge the skills gap by equipping school leavers, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals with relevant technical competencies for Zimbabwe’s industrial growth.
