Southern Africa Methodist University (SAMU)

Southern Africa Methodist University (SAMU) is an emerging private Christian university established by the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe (MCZ). The institution’s administrative headquarters are located in Harare, while its main campus is being developed at Waddilove Farm near Marondera, Mashonaland East Province. Currently progressing towards obtaining its full charter and accreditation from the Zimbabwe Council for Higher Education (ZIMCHE), SAMU is designed as an inclusive, equal-opportunity university serving students from diverse backgrounds. The planned institution aims to offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas such as Architecture, Rural and Urban Development, Business Administration and Management, Earth, Environment and Agriculture, Health Sciences, Theology, and Development Studies. Once operational, SAMU intends to contribute to regional development through quality education, research, innovation, and community-focused learning.
