Rio Tinto Agricultural College, also known as Zhombe Agricultural College, is a public agricultural training institution located in Zhombe, near Kadoma, in the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe. Operating under the Department of Agricultural Education within the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, the college provides practical agricultural training focused on developing skilled professionals for the farming sector. Established as a centre for agricultural skills development and rural empowerment, the institution operates from one main campus and offers a three-year Diploma in Agriculture in association with Midlands State University. The programme focuses on key areas including Crop Production, Animal Production, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, and Farm Management. Through hands-on learning and industry-relevant training, Rio Tinto Agricultural College contributes to Zimbabwe’s agricultural development, food security, and the growth of innovative farming practices.
