Mkoba Teachers College

Mkoba Teachers' College is a public teacher training institution located in Gweru, Midlands Province, Zimbabwe, operating from one main campus. Officially opened on 10 June 1978, the college is one of Zimbabwe's oldest teacher education institutions and operates under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development in partnership with the University of Zimbabwe. Mkoba Teachers' College offers Diploma in Primary Education programmes specialising in Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Junior Education, as well as Diploma and degree programmes focused on STEM education. The institution combines academic study with extensive teaching practice to prepare competent and innovative educators.
