Masvingo Polytechnic

Masvingo Polytechnic is a state-owned Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution located in Masvingo, Zimbabwe, operating from one main campus along the Masvingo–Beitbridge Road. Established in 1987 under the Manpower Planning and Development Act, the polytechnic has grown from offering secretarial and accounting programmes into a leading centre for technical, vocational, and applied education. It offers National Certificate, National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, and selected Bachelor of Technology programmes across three major divisions: Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Commerce. Its programmes cover fields including automotive, electrical and mechanical engineering, chemical technology, food science, horticulture, information technology, accountancy, and business management. Guided by Zimbabwe's Education 5.0 philosophy, Masvingo Polytechnic focuses on teaching, research, innovation, community service, and industrialisation, equipping graduates with practical skills that support workforce development and national economic growth.
