Marymount Teachers' College

Marymount Teachers' College (MMTC) is a public teacher training institution located in Mutare, Zimbabwe, operating from one main campus less than 5 kilometres from the city centre. Established to develop highly skilled and professional educators, the college offers Diploma in Education programmes in Early Childhood Development (ECD), Junior Primary Education, and Secondary Education with a focus on science subjects. Operating under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, MMTC aligns its training with Zimbabwe's Heritage-Based Education 5.0 framework, integrating teaching, research, community service, innovation, and industrialisation. With an enrolment of approximately 1,500 students, the college provides a supportive learning environment that nurtures academic excellence, creativity, and professional growth.
