Harare Polytechnic is Zimbabwe's oldest and largest public technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institution, operating from one main campus in Causeway, Harare. Established in 1926, the institution has built a long-standing reputation for excellence in technical education, producing highly skilled graduates across engineering, applied sciences, information technology, business, hospitality, journalism, and creative arts. Harare Polytechnic offers National Certificate, National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, and selected degree programmes through industry-focused, practical training aligned with Zimbabwe's Education 5.0 framework. With modern workshops, laboratories, and strong partnerships with industry, the institution emphasises innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and industrialisation to prepare graduates for the evolving world of work.
